CRIS does this in order to address the needs of Catholic Entities for risk management assistance and with responsive, quality insurance cover and other services.

CRIS will be the leading body for procurement of Catholic risk management services and insurance in Australia by:

Assisting in cost-effective procurement of quality insurance solutions and delivery of risk management programs;
Providing representation and advocacy in relation to risk management and insurance; and
Responding to regulatory agencies directly or on behalf of Catholic Entities.
